FAQs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are you licensed, bonded and insured?

Yes. All professional cleaning companies should be licensed, bonded and insured, and must carry Workplace Safety insurance, as we do. Independent cleaners rarely carry any insurance even though they are legally bound to carry Workplace Safety insurance. If they don’t have it and they are hurt on the job, the homeowner can be held responsible.

Who supplies the cleaning products?

We supply the cleaning products. We use only Nature Clean products plus baking soda and vinegar and sometimes mayonnaise or Epsom salts. In an effort to keep our footprint small, our cleaners travel by TTC and bicycle so we ask that you provide a vacuum, a broom and a bucket and mop. If, however, you cannot provide these items, we can arrange to send a car for an extra charge.

Will I always have the same cleaning person?
Yes. We keep the same cleaner with the same client wherever possible. If, for some reason, you are unhappy with your cleaner, we will send you a new person.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We take cash or cheques.

Do I have to be home when the cleaner arrives?
We usually send the cleaner early enough on the first day so that you can meet them before you go to work. After that, you don’t need to be there but, of course, you are welcome to stay.

What hours are your staff available?

Regular residential clients are usually accommodated from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but we also have weekend and evening appointments for commercial clients.

What about my dog?
We will be sure to send you a dog friendly cleaner.

What about my cats?
We will send you a cat friendly, non-allergic cleaner.
